Praying twice... Saint Augstine said, "he (or she!) who sings prays twice." The music ministers in our community have truly embraced this belief that the purpose of music in the liturgy is to lead the congregation in praise of God through song.
Saint George Parish is blessed to be able to offer a wide
variety of musical styles. We offer a traditional feel at out 4:00 PM Mass on Saturday led by our Parish Organist Mike Garceau. At our 8:00 AM Sunday Mass we are pleased to have Eddie Lally, a retired master organist from the Diocese of Chicago as our guest organist. A contempory liturgical sound is found with our dedicated group of musicians and vocalists at our 10:00 am Sunday Mass.
