If weekly Mass attendance has not been part of your family life lately, we respectfully ask that you consider making it more of a priority. We respect the fact that you live very busy lives. Sunday morning may be one of the only days to relax a bit, catch up and regroup. Some parents work on Sunday and some children live in two homes. There are also times when children resist the idea of going to Mass. These challenges are difficult but we hope they can be resolved. There are evening Masses or, if necessary, even Mass in a neighboring parish or college if the Mass schedule at St. George is impossible at times.

The Catholic Catechism states that "the Eucharist is the source and summit" or our faith. The role of the Liturgy Committee is to plan our liturgies with the trained and coordinated efforts of lectors, eucharistic ministers, altar servers, and music ministers. Our goal is to provide our parish community with a prayerful experience of the Catholic Mass, meeting Christ in Eucharist and Word.
